Newcastle Upon Tyne is one of the UK’S largest and ever growing cities which caters for thousands of visitors every year and as a result it has became one of the UK’S best gateways into the north east of England and Scotland and acts as a perfect gateway when leaving Great Britain for foreign shores.
Newcastle Airport is just 7 miles from Newcastle and is easily accessible by all modes of Transports. The airport is well signposted if arriving by car and offers numerous car parks in which to leave your car for the duration of your trip although a fee may be required to do this. Other more popular modes of transport include the excellent Metro train service which runs direct from Newcastle’s main train station out to the airport and it has proven to be a quick and hugely reliable service which also run’s to a dedicated timetable. Coaches and Buses are also an easy and convenient method of transport to the airport and provide an excellent Pick-up and Drop-off service right at the terminal entrance.

Also available within duty free is a large selection of tobacco, cigarettes, sweets and alcohol.
This airport really does offer a large selection of facilities to its travelers whether they are coming into the country or leaving, they can change their money into foreign currency at the airports Bureau de change or if they are short of money then there is a wide selection of cash points at all different points at the airport so you are sure never to go short.
Every facility within the airport is well signposted but if you do happen to get lost then the staff are more than happy to help you with whatever problem that you may have with finding your way around the airport.
